The Interstate Youth Exchange Programme (IYSEP) for the year 2024-2025 was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Lunglei, Mizoram, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. This initiative aimed to promote cultural exchange, learning, and interaction among youths from different states. As part of the programme, Lunglei was selected to host 25 youths and 2 escorting officers from Meghalaya from 6th to 10th February 2025.

An Interaction with students of HATIM (Higher and Technical Institute, Mizoram) was held on 9th February, 2025 at HATIM Auditorium.

The primary goal of the IYSEP is to provide a platform for young individuals to engage in cross-cultural learning experiences, foster unity, and promote knowledge-sharing. The programme encouraged participants to explore the traditions, lifestyles, and values of the host state while strengthening national integration.
